I met a Walmart hiring manager at GHC 23 in Sept. I had my first round there but never heard back from them. Later in December, I saw a post on LinkedIn by a Walmart HR that there’s this opening in the same HM’s team and requested to take the process forward. Then I got the next rounds scheduled and was given a specific internal link to apply for the position.

So when we apply with a referral or on the careers portal, once the resume gets picked, we might have to go through all the rounds, starting from Online Assessment.
In my case, through Walmart’s centralized hiring at GHC, I surpassed that online assessment and finished one interview as well without formally applying to a specific role. Which is why, I was given an internal link and was asked to fill an application, in the middle of the interviews.
