- "Expected May 2025" in place of "May 2025"
- Label projects as work, personal, or hackathon
- Projects top to bottom in chronological order, unless your top project is very relevant/impressive
Other than these tweaks it's genuinely a great resume. Don't forget luck is a large factor -- if you're dooming right now please know your worth, you are obviously very capable. I'm waging you require sponsorship or you've sent sub 50 applications. Hello from a fellow prev. Cisconian!
FWIW Apple recruiter told me to put an objective section for the talent pool app.
I would remove the dates for projects and sort it by what’s most impressive
Open source it if you can
How do mfs like u be getting no responses
My impostor syndrome is going crazy looking at these resumes with 0 responses
so i got like five responses:
- completed final round and then they said they cancelled the position
- final round -> reject (even though i did really good and the EM praised me??)
- final round -> reject (this one was my fault)
4)final round -> still waiting - final round -> offer
none of these are like big tech companies though
but
ive applied to like every posting out there
when i search "application" in my gmail
theres like 700+ results
Final round -> position canceled is my favorite lmao
😂
I had a final on Halloween and there still “in the approval process” praying it doesn’t get cancelled

I legit had only projects on my resume and a mickey unpaid internship and got better response rate that u💀
this market is so shit

i feel like you just have to get lucky and have someone see ur resume
yeh
yea its something
grateful to have employment
i hope this one final round works out lool
cuz its a good company
What company
bruh bill is good
oh i thought that was ur offer
I think it was only on there website
Yes bro
U2
this seems like it's not a resume issue then
getting 5 final rounds is a lot more than most people
i barely got any responseds from big n either, but i had quant on resume, and then got db
you got more interviews than i did lol
ur gmi bro ur at berkeley
there are no real resume issues on ur end just shitty market
maybe try to do like TA or smth?
Uhhh I would try to diversify projects a little bit. Use different tech stacks for each one, and try making an app or an Apache Kafka Clone 😏
