How do people forget OAs?

Like just plan 1 hour on the weekend to do it, since its always good practice and you might even get a good score

So its a mistake on my end.

I was ready to do it Dec 8th

Logged on and got ready

Email then says: OA open Dec 9th

So i thought oh its probably open for a week after the 9th

Logged on today

The OA was only open 24 hrs

So its closed today

Which is like…kind of less time. I asked for more time from the recruiter but its probably over i look really unprepared / bad

Lesson learned…. Gotta read the OA open / close times next time.

I am so used to OAs , especially hackerrank, being at least 3 days. So i just assumed. Still a mistake on my end. But a chinese "AI" company giving out 1 day OAs on their terms is already a red flag in my opinion.
