Yea
that's crazy
waitlisted a bunch of people and sending out new interviews
the most dysfunctional recruiting process i've ever seen tbh, idk wtf that company is doing
FR
i mean my recruiter sent me a text to my personal cell like "yo whats up gavin want to interview for summer swe" so i dont think its part of the formal process
GAVIN
sup
no way 💀
yea same thing happened w apple and rockwell
turns out it was just some random manager who was looking thru resumes 1 by 1 looking for 1 intern for his team
and said "yea this guy looks dope lemme reach out"
so this might be similar
interesting, they did mention they recruited based on teams so that might be why
ye apple does too
and rockwell
I like these reachouts lol it feels more personal like they actually like me
instead of the stats of my resume
yeah i prefer team-based recruiting, the role is generally more relevant to your resume too
same lol
and they can make interviews more specific to the role rather than braindead LC
