clutch from how long after final did you hear back
I am currently waiting to hear back @arctic birch
oct
they reached out to me
also, i should say my case is pretty rare
I was explained what happened
They are flooded from all the tech bros getting laid off
bb is tier 0 to them lol
Also when did you have your final? @arctic birch
Just manifesting when can I expect a reject
a business day prior
not consistent. depends on team
last friday
D D
great it was just a conversation with
em for 30
he seemed to like me and no sys design
just talk about resume and stuff
told him about a project not enough time to go over everything
but he was nice to talk to
Oh nice
recruiter basically said I know so much about you and don't really have any questions for you
Whatttty
mostly because we talked a lot before I asked him some questions
he liked me a lot was very consistent with emails
if you hit the last stage at bloomberg, you're likely to get an offer
if you failed at that stage, it means you either couldnt talk about your resume well or misaligned values with bloomberg with what you said
we had a chill conversation and talked about everything we could in the time frame given
explained everything as well as I could
Is the EM interviewer random or do you get assigned to someone based on your resume?
Not sure
Rec reached out on a call and I mentioned management in my career goals and focused on training / development towards that, of the 2 round I did the technical was a manager of 13+ year and ofc manager for EM in final so maybe based on diff factors
Idk. You can't verify this as an interviewee.
What can be stated is that whether you get a system design interview or not during the final 2 rounds is based on whether your previous interviews or discussions with the manager don't raise anything to them that may make them question if they need to do one.
I got to skip System Design because I already had an AI project and several other projects on my resume of varying complexity which I could explain in-depth. I guess it was system design in a sense but it was just me explaining why I created the project and the solution I went about to answer the technical problem
So you had resume discussions prior to HM round? Interesting
