Probably rotational SWE, not too sure why people are applying since its minimum 2 YOE
"Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical"
My guess is internship experience can be included
"2+ years experience building software solutions in a corporate or start-up engineering environment, or equivalent, using an industry-standard language (e.g. JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, C++ and/or Java)"
2 years of internships
that's not very likely
I mean I'm not lmao
Just pointing it out to people who are reading this thinking its a new grad position
np
Honest question, DOES Meta have a new grad role that is not this? I feel like this seems like what it would be
Yes it does
It hasn't come out in quite a while, but they do have a specific one that comes out labeled like 2024 software engineer or University Grad or something along those lines
its not
source: i talked to a meta recruiter 2 days ago
One day they'll drop the new grad posting lmao
seeing as it got taken down also
? Its not down for me
if you submit the app and check it just says "meta opportunity"
Ah ok, I dont think I'll apply though but interesting its down
@tropic warren I stand corrected, sorry about that
they literally said their hc wont be finalized at least this month
No worries lol
Do u guys think rotational is worth it or nah
bro
I mean if your other options are nothing it definitely is
why you asking like you got it
Honestly doesn't hurt to try for it unless you wouldnt take it even if you got it
The fact that you aren't given a FT seems a bit odd
It's just an extended internship I suppose
its like a extended internship with outplacement
I don't know whether they'll get an E3 HC but they are on a hiring boom for E4+ so who knows
They gave 2022 summer interns offers so not too sure what's going on over there lmao
pursuing a degree and has 2 years of professional experience make it make sense
why do u gotta graduate tho
Follow
That's why I assumed it was internship experience (maybe like two internships?) but I have no idea and the whole thing is just odd
But still worth the apply I feel idk
I think someone fucked up the job desc
why
