Yes, it was at the very end of new grad cycle so a bunch of folks had their offers rescinded and interviews cancelled.

No, just talking about your projects and experience. What I meant by mid was the dude seemed confused the entire time so probably didn't do a good enough job of explaining the said experiences.

Basically earlier if you cleared the interviews, you got an offer. Now I believe they have a pool of candidates who clear interviews and they select a certain % amongst them.
