usually they like seeing iOS stuff on your resume. they look for big potential thru extracurriculars, TA, research, etc.

once your resume makes it thru a cold apply, youre most likely to be reached out to by other apple recruiters too. if you dont make it for one team, theyll just forward it around to their recruiter colleagues

a lot of it is luck! but having iOS on ur resume helps. and after you interview w them once, theyre likely to share ur resume around.
