bro you still got it
Is it this one https://leetcode.com/problems/rotate-image
yea but also flip image vertically and horizontally
I also have no lin alg experience
So I got knowledge gapped
I could barely transpose the matrix let alone knowing to reflect it diagonally is beyond me
wdym by vertically and horizontally and diagonally
So u rotate first then u gotta flip the rotated image vert and horiz
oh shit i see
so transpose then reverse
then col reverse and row reverse
can we go on dm*
U def not getting this question
wait why not did you do full stack swe intern
Cuz i want backend
ohh i see
ill see u in mclean lil bro
wait was that your first interview question or second?
bro, I got this one insane sorting problem 😠i STILL don’t know what approach I could’ve taken to solve it lmfao
i tried to show thought process and communicate, and the interviewer commended me on that afterwards, but dang
yo if you dont mind what question was it
No but did we just get rnged or was this year just suppsoed to be hard
It was chill last year according to online sources
i have no idea, man 😠all we can do is hope we showed competence to the interviewers
something involving sorting sublogs in an array of logs by date and time something something
it sounds easy, but trust me, i was COOKED. interviewer literally told me i could look stuff up, and even then 💀
Can’t you use sorted( and then lambda function)
that sounds complicated tho
wont lie
I tried that. Didn’t work, because using the lambda would only sort by one parameter, but you needed to sort by multiple
I managed to sort by year
what did he say did he say it was harder or easier than you thought it to be
why are these intereviews lieterally anything lol
It was def harder. By the end, i asked for the answer, and he solved it. When he did, both of us laughed, cuz there was no way I was gonna do allat 😂
but ngl, the aim is to show you understand data structures, and he said he was impressed i made it that far
ok that’s good as long as you made him laugh>>>
yeah bro that’s fire
don’t stress ghen
yea, all i can do is hope. goodluck on your interview!
backend
You can just use tuples to sort by multiple things
@ebon gulch what were the initials of the interviewer?
i think i had the same q i just solved it with a lambda sort with 2 elements
i kept messing up the syntax for that and couldn't figure it out. damn..
that's what I got brother
inititally I sorted by both date and time but then the interviewer had to give me a hint that you have to sort by year first then by month then by day and then by time
