No summary
so white space > summary?
nah full white space with stuff if you can
but if you can’t hmm
leadership / clubs >> summary
but then what's the purpose of the summary if it's not being read first
summaries are wastes of space
no one reads them if ur going for swe
maybe if ur like an actor or something
I see 💀
The problem is by the time I can fill in the rest of the resume application season over
damn 😔
well apart from the summary you see anything I can improve?
the results part of your experience
both of them are really vague
i would quantify the improvement of grades in the first bullet point
if you can
and the second one idk
yea for the first one I could add some more
like “heightened interest and improved coding ability” is fluffy without stats to back it up
right yeah
it’s good formatting
just need numbers for it
to quantify the impact
but there's not really any measurables to a coding competition so idk what to put
right
second one is a tough one
maybe rewording would fix
first project you used “transformed” twice
oh didn't catch that
third bullet point instead of putting a period do …X, enhancing…
alright
maybe for the first bullet point have a metric that states how much you improved analysis time vs. without the tool
also ur second project all ur bullets action words start with E
that’s not like
too serious but
it’s just off putting to me lol
all really good bullet points tho
that’s how they should look
really strong second project
wait
is that a project or job
did you have users
yup thanks
i think you misspelled IntelliJ
but i don’t think you should have it anyway
IDEs don’t matter
but yeah really nice
So what else should I put in developer tools
ok added
wait let me ask what did you have as experience before your first internship
this was my resume before applying this year
the internship on there doesn’t really count
it was a local non profit
I see
but the other 2 are impressive tho
idk if it makes a difference but should I add calc in my coursework?
