1 day
u did it yday or friday?
i took mines yday
when did u take it
yday wbu
same
🙏
ahhh shit i guess im probably rejected then i had mine friday 😭
is notion final hard? or is it pretty straight forward
i thought it was pretty straightforward! honestly i enjoyed it a lot more than the typical leetcode interviews ive had to do for most companies
@drifting kettle u end up hearing back ?
yupp i also heard back this morning
did u both move on
yea
Ye
did you get your hm round scheduled? i got mine on wednesday next week
ooh gotcha cool cool, hope we all make it through 🙏 🙏
nyc or sf?
nyc for me
LOL dang interesting, i was asked what my team and location preference was back in my recruiter call
yeah it is
i think in the doc outlining the interview process they say that the HM interview will be with an EM of the team you were matched to
at least for mine it looks like my interviewer is on an backend/infra team in nyc based on his linkedin
yeah my recruiter didnt ask bc mines the other one
i see i see
interesting
mine is sf
never picked sf
but i also only picked times that worked on the west coast
ooh okay thats a good point i chose times that were mostly east coast based so that would also make sense why mine is an east coast interviewer
damn my interviewer didn’t put anything on his linkedin
wait he’s based out of sf wtf
🎉 Final Conversation (45 min)
- This final conversation will be with the engineering manager of the team you have been initially “matched” to based on your experience, interests, and team needs. (This does not mean you will be hired on to this team as this will come after all interns have been hired and we have a generalized matching process)
- This conversation is focused on your values as an engineer, your biggest achievements, challenges. We want to hear about your motivations for taking a job, your reflections on things that went well and that could have gone better, what you would have done differently, and what you learned as you've progressed through your career.
so it looks like it doesnt actually mean anything about where you will be based on this snippet from the process summary
prob nothing to worry about in that case
LMAO good point 😭 i sure hope it is a formality chat, would love to have the process wrapped up asap without having to stress about if i passed or not
i got you
