#I'm Doomed....

i’ll look at it in a bit but it looks super solid and has duo idk why it wouldn’t pass screens 😭
This is just my opinion:
Others are welcome to disagree.
-
I'm not a fan of the 'Concepts' list in the Skills Section - I think it's a bit redundant - these should be referenced in your bullet points.
-
Your entire resume seems to list every language and technology under the sun - it can be a overwhelming to figure out what team you'd fit in -- I'd list the technologies/languages you're truly comfortable with and willing to do under skills.
-
Consider moving Skills above Projects.
-
Your projects are really good. However, there might be a bit too many. You spend more space on ur projects than u do ur 3 internships!
IMHO- consider removing 1-2 that don't have XYZ metrics associated with them, and with this extra space to describe your achievements with more XYZ. If you want to target quant roles and u remove xv6 & compiler, create another resume with it, but include metrics on xv6 and compiler. -
Don't use 'utilized'-- just use 'Used'
-
You don't need to include start date
Overall I think it's important that you make it as clearly as possible what role you'd like to fit in - if you're interested in Java Backend Dev then emphasizing OOP concepts would be prudent along with performance, consistency, and scalability through metrics
Duolingo is well-done, you might benefit from explaining ur two other experiences a bit more as well
great advice wow
Hey coyprius I’ll review this soonish
I can’t type rn so as soon as I get my arm healed I will
or find me in vc sometime
Gym and I pulled smth on rotator cuff and docs said i shouldn’t use arm for a week
mhm ty
duolingo is so sexy
how do uget duolingo
if you passed databricks i think thats a good sign your resume is in good shape
^^
then use that one
Reducing the comp
there’s literally zero wasted space
looks impressive
curious why you didn't put your GPA before
oh nvm
i didnt see dates
but it's not jan 2024 yet so how do you have a 4.0
ic
yeah you're going to succeed it's just a matter of when
use consistent em-dashes or regular dashes
it's just a personal opinion but i think the old was better without bolding and underlining so many things
sorry i just gap
sure it's probably not going to make or break someone
text box is cutting off top of word / might be messing up ATS (prob not tho)
dont ask me i think duolingo is better than my stuff
but i wish u good luck
i think u will get more stuff with time
if you're passing db
so just dont worry too much

how recent was the reverie review?

honestly i’d play numbers there’s no way these companies are skipping
this is insane

hotl shit
ur gonna make it coyprirus
ur too stacked to slip into the sinkhole
there’s no way
someone is gonna get you
I was just gonna say I had success with bolded keywords, but I didn't think my advice would be helpful since I am not impressive so I wasn't gonna send it
The other ppl here know a lot more than me
aw man I didn’t see this, ping me next time
i have Robinhood on resume and meta recruiter still told me to put skills first bc I have C++ there and she discards resumes without c++
resume advice is all anecdotal
but for getting past an initial round, I’m always more concerned that the recruiter swipes left after 1.5s bc they didn’t look down far enough to see something in skills
It’s not a lot of recruiters use for team matching
its a meme
Doesn’t this screw u in background checks?
this looks so much better man
@gentle nexus Not relevant to resume review, just curious. What resources did u use to make ur os. I’m reading a book rn for x86 assembly and I’m gonna be following os-dev website
But it feels like I’ve gotten nowhere
Resume is solid imo btw
Cool. Is this just OS concepts? Or like explains implementing it as well
Ic
Thanks
Was this for a course then or
Ah ok
Nvm
