i also got palantir phone
100% on oa
ah shit so 2/3 wont cut it will it
Was this for path or normal?
normal for me
oa was literally LC easy for me
like not even trying to flex, i found the problems on LC easy
Is it 105 min 3 questions?
yes
Alright
Last year it was 3 questions but basically the same graph problem that gets harder
2 lc easy 1 med
how can a graph question be lc easy
first was parsing and the second like topo sort bullshit
i applied last night so i didnt get oa yet but i hope it really is lc easies
How was q3?
harder but its cause i thought it was a dp hard
i legit misunderstood it
But it was an lc easy?
yes after i realized it wasn't a dp question
i found it on leetcode marked as an easy question lol
or at least, v similar q
Also do yk what the process is this yr bc I heard the steps aren't the same as last
U went from oa -> phone?
yes
No karat?
no karat
ahh kk
phone is behavioral
ty
I'm supposed to be getting an email soon but haven't gotten anything yet
Would u advise studying anything specific for the oa? Would NC 150 normal graphs section be enough
Like we don't have ti knkw union find right 💀
given that i had LC easies, nothing to really study for
though i know others who got medium
No karat this is huge
So ig oa - phone - 2 x 1h interview - final with hiring manaher
what was process last yr?
oa -> karat -> phone -> 2x 1h -> normally the final w HR is offer
Like if u made it to HR call it normally meant u would get an offer
what are the 2x 1h
No, actually I think 50% of hr interview ended with a no
It was either 2 system design or 1 sys 1 leetcode, it wasn't the same for everyone
I think it depended on how you did on karat + oa, if you did good -> 2 sys design
Yep. It’s also not HR… it’s a HM round and you often get asked technicals as well
u get asked technicals during the hiring manager round wtff
Yeah the hm was often leetcode hard 😅
Yea based on your weak points during the on-sites
BROOOOO
Yeah legit, and you have like 30 min to do it
Because 30 other min goes for complicated behavorial questions
real
Oh what I didn't know hr round was that bad
no wonder everyone says their bar is insanely high
also my rec said the process is different this yes r
Year
So maybe they also skipped out on other steps, like more than just the karat
did they tell you what they changed? looks like they just removed karat (maybe it was costing them too much money?)
@scarlet silo how long after OA?
2-3 days
Not yet
Still waiting on email
Do you think it's possible to skip oa if last year I did oa/karat/onsite
Normal
Didn’t do OA, went through process till final last year
Yes it is
I reached out to mine cause I made on-site last year
Skip OA straight to phone
ohh nice, I sent an email to my recruiter
do you know if the rest of the process is the same? phone->learning/decomp->hiring manager?
k k gl!
Appreciated bro
Did you have to ask to skip?
Nope
Just contacted them
I sent an email to say that I did the process last year and they skipped me oa
the pipleine is
phone -> technical (30-45min with palantir engineer) -> viritual onsite -> hiring manager
so basically same as last year but instead of karat, now it's with a palantir engineer
