Rising Junior aiming for FAANG+ internships, seeking general advice.

I am an undergraduate rising junior in a non-target school aiming for FAANG+ or equivalent.
I have a couple of specific concerns regarding my resume:

1. Will LaTeX documents like this be parseable for companies? I added this:

\pdfgentounicode=1```
to ensure it'll be (according to Reddit), but not too sure.
2. Will start applying in August 2023. However, I will also start to lead a fullstack team project at this time (till December). Could I put this on my resume? Hoping to do a couple of things before I apply.

Note: My 2020 project will be phased out when I finish my internship + I will add a new fullstack project by August / September.

Why are there titles like Frontend developer for your projects

partially to get keywords in, partially because these projects listed are all team open-source projects. also, it's a bit because i need to fill some resume space

Public GitHub repo (even if ur using an open source license) != open source

I would not put the titles, it makes it seem like ur inflating ur projects which won’t help much anyway. If anything it’ll make ur other points less credible

they are open source projects, at least the first three. they are specifically made in the open-source club and had instructions for others to follow and contribute

here is my updated resume.
I replaced project role with project description, added 'Machine Learning' to Tools/DevOps, and moved that section higher up in the Skills

if your involvement in extracurriculars is plentiful enuf, i'd opt to replace two of your least favorite projects with a section about your affiliations since majority of your resume is projects anyway
