The only reason I followed up within 2 days was because the recruiter told me that the offer letter will come the very next day.
Idk why they commit something to a candidate if they can't follow it through. I have a feeling that the offer is a done deal but I will still wait another week to be sure.

Recruiters have a lot to manage, they opened up a good number of internships/new grad roles, sometimes other stuff in the background happens like hiring manager being slow to response that can delay things

My college does not allow internship after fall term date. So the offer was 3-4 days extra than my end date. I asked them to prepone the start date or something. Apparently they're very strict on it. I tried to get an approval from my college but they didn't help either. Guess I was out of luck

How did they know your college doesn't allow internship after fall?

They gave the end date as 21 august, I'm in ASU and the fall term start date is 17th august. So as per ISSC my internship has to end before next terms start date. So I asked them to just prepone the end date as well as start date.

Then he ghosted for week and came back with the news that it's rescinded But the team really liked me blah blah. I tried to negotiate that I can ask my college to allow something but he wasn't interested

In conclusion my offer is rescinded for 3 working days.

are you SWE intern? there are a few cohorts for swe intern (a few start dates and a few locations)

if its full for a certain date at a certain location, maybe try to ask for a location change
