Personally I don't see email tracking as an advantage, it's a bit too obsessive and doesn't really help because even if your email is opened it means nothing and also some companies do block them. If you're worried a recruiter didn't see then you can always follow standard advice and follow up after a week. I've heard of some recruiters telling people here not to use trackers too.
