dang i dont rly know any of that, im an ios dev, ive never used sql in a professional setting or juypter notebook
Jupyter was for data science/machine learning position
cybersecurity analyst. the question was not straight up "do regex", but the answer was that
question was basically consolidating/processing unstructured data
so basically @copper nacelle you are saying that previously interviews were all LC , like 3 rounds of grueling LC questions . with all this happening in the tech market things have changed to basically less of LC and more of what the job requires you to do meaning if the position is concerned with a lot of frontend engineering everyday so one can expect coding question or some kind of practical use case like getting data from an api and displaying results etc
Can't say I agree, never had regex never had sql. Always been leetcode or systems design, code review, or project showcases or something. Maybe sql / regex for analyst roles but general swe I've never had these topics
Yes but not because of the market, just what happens when you become industry hire for intermediate roles
region?
NA
really? damn...I've been in a group w/ people primarily doing leetcode problems since a bunch of us got laid off
what companies/positions?
- some cybersecurity "federation"? idk, research
- Faire, coursera, makeship, more I've already forgotten but pretty much every position I've applied to
- fortinet
- mastercard
