NDE intern
looks like AWS is reopening a lot of roles again
I was contacted back in October-early November for this and recruiter responded back now after initial questionnaire lol
what is NDE?
network dev engineer
I applied and got the questionaire I did it and Im waiting for them to respond. How long did it take for them to get back to you? @unreal quiver
And what was the phone interview like?
I got questionaire October ending
I got a reply first week of Jan lmfao
urs might be quicker due to no more freeze
it was so easy, but then again I fucked up
I am a cs major and this is the semester I am taking comp. networking lmfao
i didnt know how a switch worked in depth
ik it took ur packet to the right mac address whatever
but guy started going balls deep with questions. How exacly does it route it and like where exactly is the address going etc etc
but they barely touched routing algorithms... here I was thinking they were the most important. He asked abt BGP and moved on to other stuff
Oh shit lol no I applied like November December time lol so I was like I got ghosted fs
Oh damn so they dont ask about routing algorithims I know BGP was kind of important and stuff
How many interviews are you supposed to have before you get an offer?
1 phone 1 final -> offer
final hasnt been described yet (well dont know my results from phone), but I did hear its a 3 part interview that is technical, leadership, and resume review or something
yea BGP, OSPF, IGRP are all important, but they were more focusing on network fundamentals
how does a swithc work? router? etc etc
i scanned those details, didnt pay too much attention
