Technicial questions: My team asked me questions that tested reading comprehension, understanding what the inputs and outputs are and what the solution needs to do
No fancy algos or esoteric data structures needed to solve the problem. There is no need to study leetcode in advance for the kinds of problems I got
My team didn't really give a lot of time for the coding part, but they let me abstract out the parts of the solution that were less important
Behaviorals: My team asked a LOT of behaviorals, and they really tried to pry deep into situations such as at previous internships, including successes, failures, and my relationship with other colleagues.
They also asked a lot about personal strengths and weaknesses.
My team can talk a shit ton, was wearing my mind down. I stuttered and repeated myself a lot since I have a somewhat strong natural stutter(i never ask for accomodations)
Software Engineer, new grad
oh i didnt see that. i guess the role is closed now

sad
Main takeaway: a lot of teams at veeva really value the behavioral
I wasn't really asked anything of technical depth
C'est la Veeva
what was the timeline between all these rounds?
i got an email for a 30min behavioural interview. is that what your phone round was?
Yeah that's the phone screen with the recruiter
The phone and final are very behavioral heavy btw
may I ask what team u interviewed for?
Vault vps quality
can you tell me what the phone screen was like? was it the usual "tell me about a time __" type questions? also, does it mean the whole process only has 2 stages - phone screen and final?
Why veeva and your interests in software and etc
There's an oa between the phone and the Final
The phone screen is very surface level
The final is very in depth about behavioral
ah okay. and the oa is LC mediums I imagine?
