i've only been able to find like 150 new grad postings

or are you also applying to intern?

A lot of jobs don't specifically mention the word "new grad" in the title but in the job description say 0-2 yoe or something like that

so you can apply to those

but then again you'd probably be at a disadvantage if you are going up against applicants with experience

Yeah applying to industry hire roles is honestly a waste of energy for new grads

But I guess instead of a 1% chance of an interview, it's a 0.01% chance

If you have time might as well throw an app into the void
