also did they ask system design in the EM round?
or was it technical at all?
Nah I think I got unlucky because he started asking me C++ trivia and I haven’t touched it in a year so I’m rusty and was asking me questions like “what’s the difference between new and malloc” and stuff so I was unsure about some of that trivia, but besides that I thought it went well but I guess he didn’t like that I didn’t know the CPP trivia. Pretty brutal to get reject after 5 interviews for some trivia questions tho.. ig I’ll be leetcoding in c++ here on out lolol
Did you specify something about C++ in your interviews/application or did they just come out of nowhere with it?
It was listed on my resume as a ‘skill’ so ig kinda my fault but tbh what were the chances he’d pick that one specifically considering I listed like 20 other skills
Ah unfortunate
mans was looking for a reason to reject u lmfao
that's really unfortunate. Thx for the detailed response! Btw are you a junior?
Could you please share the timeline? When you did the em round and when you receive the rejection😶
