Idk my intern manager at fb went to waterloo and never did a lc problem but interviewed atleast citadel
I know a couple other people who did something similar

like u have to be a giga genius to solve some stuff like min edit distance wihtout seeing any string dps before

maybe it might be a bit generalized but i think someone who did take a ds&a class at a school that youre saying, they would have to spend very minimal time on lc to get up to speed on the harder problems
