Ah I didn't know that thanks. Did y'all write a lot for the application questions?
I don't have a source for that unfortunately
Kind of curious as to why though
in their words “when the world burns palantir does better”
i assume it’s bc their business is about optimizing other businesses
so when they tank they need palantirs services
Ah I thought they were mostly a defense/private sector company though. In which case the first statement makes a lot of sense
But regardless good to know thanks. Mind if I ask what the process is @quick pagoda if you happen to know/have gone through it
yeah sure
oa (some ppl skip this) -> karat technical interview-> 15 min behavioral recruiter screen -> two technical onsites (debugging and decomp(sys design)) -> hiring manager technical + behavioral
0_0 ok then. A few things and I am well aware I am getting ahead of myself here:
- For the OA, what is the type and do you happen to know what causes some people to bypass it and others not?
- Onsite as in in-person or virtual?
- idk lol i skipped it
- it’s virtual idk why they call it an onsite
Alright thanks for the answers. Did you get through the whole process (it sounds like it from what you are describing) and how long did it take them to get back to you per step (if you made it through multiple rounds that is)?
i got through it all and id say about one or two weeks for the earlier steps and about 1 week for between on-site and hm and another week for offer
- When'd you apply (guessing early Sept.)? 2. How difficult were the interviews as a whole?
did recruiter reach out before apps open for you?
@arctic nymph Applied 2 weeks ao -> received oa last. OA was medium-hard difficulty with 3 questions in 75 mins
Ah good to know. How’d you do?
Do you have to ace the OA to move on?

Solved 2 questions; Had stuck on one edge case on second one but it was 95% complete. I didn't get a chance to complete the third one.
