whatcha say
cause when the roof caved in and the truth came out i just didnt know what to do
- recruiter phone(they screen here i jerked the company off)
- 30m technical which i finished like 10m early with 2 extra followup
- algo round + OOD round 2h
- VP behavuoral + hm behavioiral 1h 30m
wtf
i reneged it remember
bruh
is bubble the no code company
yea
ye
did u accept drew
yea
bruh i read this as bumble the whole time
yep
bro fuck this shit i need asana
bubble was founded in 2012 but is still series A
they didnt have any donaters so they kept it alive themselves
without funding
did they choose not to get more funding or did they fail to get funding
no one believed in them until they started doing good

and then the same investors came back and invested in yhem
bro how do u do the ood part
is there a good resource to study it
im a freshman and i didn’t take software construction yet
its literally like design a parking lot, design some game, design a file system, etc
if u can break things apart in LC and connect classes/objects with corresponding logic ur gine
Failed at round 3, but that process is ode cancerous tbh
it’s not system design right
Thats definitely Sys Design. The recruiter told me herself about it
You do know that Bubble primarily hires based on prestige. Its been said quite the amount of times. Like the recruiter saw my university and kept smiling happily along with my Google internship (was only a month). Didn't give a fuck about my other opportunities where I had much more impact
also for the lc portion is tagged enough?
sys des != ood
lol where do u go
Cornell
imfao
yea i knew they were prestige based: eitther u need a good school or u need good companies
Yeah basically
like i didnty pass resume screen with incoming fb. once i applied again few months later with fb + unicorn they passed me
Like she kept asking me about the stuff I do at Cornell and Google in the beginning chat
Even though I barely did ode in Google and did some program for a month
I bet that's how it is. You got other offers incoming? I screwed up with Asana (kinda mad) in their final round and a recruiter reached out to me to apply to their program 😦. When that happens, you feel as if you let the recruiter down yk
nope thats not system design:
system design is similar to the shit ud see in system design primer: load balancing, db schema + scaling sharding federation, asynchornous message queues, prioritize consistency or availability, sql vs nosql
ood is literally like desiging classes with schemas and then how they connect and algorithms at a high level
nope first offer of this shit season
does asana respect deadlines? i did phone yesterday and prolly will eamile recrutier today abt deadline
Ahh fuck. Mb for not knowing the difference
Yeah they do actually. I dont think they gonna screw you over and might expedit you
aight cool
Asana is a dope company. Go for it 100%
how well did u do on phone to get to final? answered like 3 code snippets + 1 bonus and explained everything they wanted for the actual OOD
That was basically about it for me. I think for the code snippets, I did less and fumbled a bit. But they still moved me on
what ur prev experiences mate
Whose prev exp
no name + meta + unicorn
mfw rentech is a no name
sheeeesh do they let you negotiate?
Nah, its straight up just 50/hr
i never tried
Actually any idea what their fte pay is then?
Definitely 130-140k
Their prestige wanting ass not gonna want to pay more than 50/hr
i thought more than that. they still unicorn
Yeah that's true tbh
Equity might be bank tho?
Idk they still on Series A
That’s true too
yo did u convert that akuna ml shit
i ended up getting rej lol
I got reject the next day too 💀
so wait u don't write the algorithms u explain how the classes u designed connect
