Yeah, I did the learning interview before the decomp
For the learning interview, I was given a chunk of code and some documentation and ask to explain what it does. Then analyze the complexity. Then improve the complexity. It was mostly talking but I wrote about 15 lines of code
Then he added extra requirements and asked who your solution would handle it/ what other improvement could be made. Note, you can’t use functions that are not in the code/documentation you were given
For the decomp interview it was system design. The interview gave the problem statement(design course registration platform is what I was asked) and then asked me to design a solution like I was the CTO of a startup
There no ZERO coding for this interview, just talking about databases and API design
