8/14 finished OA
how did you do in OA? all test cases passed? and how abt the later personality assessment?
8/15 final invite
9/9 final
oh. i see
how abt behavioral?
behavioral i tjink is what carried my OA lmao
but a lot of my answers on the final i think screwed over my final maybe idk
they didnt rlly say how i did
i have never seen ppl got rejected after final...
first time for everything
people only post when they pass not fail
i did i was asking questions
@fleet kraken heads up man
yeah im an incoming freshman
you will get smth good soon
it's normal SDE intern position or propel/APP smth?
intern
When did you interview?
9/9
thats impressive that you got to final
next year for sure
hopefully
maybe you can even get a good one this year
Did u get the rejection email?
Man. That sucks. I interviewed on 9/6 but still no updates for me.

wait fr
but ye there aren't too many amazon rejects after final
A bunch of ppl got rejected your probably thinking about the 1x30 but that’s mostly only given to NG
it's rare for amazon to reject after final tho
but i am seeing quite a bit of rejections today
A lot of ppl got invited for final interview tho so makes sense not everyone who makes it to final get an offer
do they look at oa score after u do final?
or are people not studying lps enough
or not doing enough lc
ye amazon is def selective but this wave of rejects is kinda unusual
(ye it's just 3 but still)
Wdym like if they take into consideration your OA score when giving offers after final?
ye that's what im asking
From what ik they do use your OA score when deciding
Apparently there’s been a hiring freeze for NG ppl have been wait listed
And results for intern final is delayed
ye they might be looking at the big picture when giving an offer
combined if u have poor performance on the final itself
but ye that's why it's good to have multiple other company processes while u r doing amazon
no the rejects that i have seen so far have been only 4 people
amazon is still easier to get into than other companies but it's important to note it's still amazon
yeah for sure
Seems like their overloaded with candidates so I’m assuming there only focused on top talent
lucky I don't have to deal with this shit this year
but if I remember correctly
same thing happened last year too
they are overloaded but they kinda have to overload thanks to pip and the 10% rule
and they resumed later on during the winter
poor company policies force them to hire as much as possible
HAHA is pip normally that bad for companies or is it just Amazon
What’s the 10% rule?
amazon is slightly worse apparently some teams are effectively forced into getting rid of the bottom 10% of performers
i found that info on blind tho so it's prob biased
