did you have recruiter help/reach out of some sort or a previous google interviewer?
trying to see if this is the start of organic apps getting through yet for new grads
Nah people have had finals, this is def not the start
ye I was contacted by my recruiter from my past application
yes i know but as far as i can tell, everyone who has had a final so far has gotten through resume screen by either
A) a previous applicant who did interviews
B) had recruiter reach out and apply for them
C) reached out to a recruiter after applying
so i was wondering if they're finally rolling out OAs and finals to people who just applied blindly with no recruiter interaction
No idts I think there are way too many people and way to much competition in this economy especially so u need some sort of shortcut/inside person unfortunately
I don't think they will even get to regular apps
What do I know though
Yeah no phone
I dont know how anyone is getting past resume screen through cold email
I have emailed so many recruiters
they just ghost lol
ig goog just hates me w/a passion
i cold connected a recruiter and that's how i got in 🧐
i guess im the minority tho, guess i got lucky
There's no point in reaching out contract recruiters. Employee recruiters might do something for you. I got in through recruiter cold email too
mine was a contract recruiter
i think
well
her linky says
"Technical Sourcer - Google via <Some company> - Contract"
😂
like i said, definitely the minority 💀
yea, well then I guess its just luck
