I only apply for europe positions

Is it okay to put volunteered for the second experience? or should I change the word?

your projects have dates but no github or demo links. do you have any personal open-source projects you can showcase? hiring managers really love seeing those because it proves you can actually do the work

#

I assume you cut out the name + contact info, but it's actually part of the resume?
also I assume you already ensured ATS can parse it well?

solemn kraken
#

I have github links but I don't know where to put them

#

ATS parse you mean like resumeworded?

#

and yes I cut off my infos

mystic marlin
#

To check ATS, run the pdf through any job application on Smartrecruiters (eg. Visa).
For github links, on my resume I substituted dates with them like so:

solemn kraken
#

did you do it with latex?

mystic marlin
#

while having a github link up in the infos section may work, this caters better to lazy/busy HMs and recruiters

#

yep

#

if you're doing a latex resume, definitely get comfortable with latex

solemn kraken
#

I just use overleaf for now but will definitely try to learn more latex

yep. focus on making sure the dates are parsed out, that your education is parsed, and that it picks up the important experiences (and ideally the important keywords)

#

like maybe it wont be a perfect parse but it should be pretty good

solemn kraken
#

ok right I see

mystic marlin
#

you removed some bullets?

solemn kraken
#

I removed the last bullet from internship, and the 2nd bullet from the last project

#

because these bullets were pretty useless, just talking about jira and confluence, and some people told me it's useless to mention that

#

I also went from the "more than" notation to the "+" notation, which made some bullets go from 2 lines to 1 line
