#process LinkedIn reject after phone

Wait really?
So internationals in Canada will be rejected by Linkedin bcs of J1? @tropic bronze
I'm pretty sure it's because they're not a Canadian or Mexican citizen, so they aren't eligible for J1. They must be an international student in Canada.
Yes he is international
And I am international too 😠rip
No lol everyone who wants to intern in the US needs a J1 visa if they’re not a US citizen
For international students in Canada and Canadian citizens (internships):
No you're not authorized to work in the US, and yes you need sponsorship (J-1)
For Canadian citizens (Full-Time):
No you're not authorized to work in the US, and no you don't need sponsorship (TN)
But then why would he get rejected for not having canadian/mexican passport?
Isn't the process supposed to be just the same? Except the interview with US consulate
Yes you’re right
That’s why I’m confused lol
And I know an international student in Canada who worked there this past summer lol
Wtffffff
Ok, so how would you explain what happened here
I just said I’m confused lol
Yea it's so weird wtf
.
But if that's really the case then I will just reject myself as well 🥲
Wait, so does LinkedIn sponsor for F1?
I think theres a different j1 process for canada/mexico due to nafta
The only difference for non citizen canada stuxents is u need to do an interview wirh us consulate
Maybe the deadline is too tight for visa idk
I’m also confused my recruiter and I had a phone and she told me this. I told her other comps don’t have this issue
Yes this reason
Why would interview with US consulate bother them? LOL
That's weird af
@tropic bronze did you ask to move to summer instead?
Oh can I do that?
Yea worth to try either way
So does linkedin sponsor for f1 or no?
