When did you have power day @steep gust
powerday went very well, expect ood for the technical part and no leetcode (at least in my experience)! personally i thought the case interview was a little trickier/harder
8/16
It is simple oof would you say?
How would you study for the case?
same, but I got zero communication since. I guess I got rejected
tbh i didn't, im not sure how you would be able to, i would say just communicate well take your time and you'll be fine
my recruiter said it would take 3-5 business days so i would chill for a bit longer and reach out later, dw
Any specific ds you Recc to study
the basics like arrays, hashmaps, dictionaries
sounds good to me
im kinda dogshit at leetcode so take my opinion with a grain of salt tbh
I'll wait until tuesday then
more like hashmaps so i wouldnt worry too much
Ok sounds good! Thanks!
Minimum codesignal for capital one
i got in with like a ~730 and ppl have gotten in with like ~680
congrats! for ood in the technical part, did you have to implement it afterwards or only suggest ideas?
yeah you're implementing multiple methods and a class as well as suggesting/implementing improvements and optimizations
also not to be rude but kurapika is way better than killua!
You hurt my feelings, I’ll let that slide tho friend!
Ahh I see, then would you be given several test cases for your program then?
for me it was all pseudo code and nothing that rigorous, i got the vibe that the interviewer is just checking for understanding
Thank you for the insight, some people got LCs and some got OOD, seems like it’s based on the interviewer
that seems about right, gl on your power day!
Ok so basically just wanna clarify it’s more like a question and you have to use a ds or make a class and do it basically
yeah, make a class, fill out methods, then at the end analyze your code and optimize
Oh makes sense ok thanks!
I’m assuming you have to get like everything right? To get the offer
i've seen/heard a few people say that you only need 2 out of the 3 interviewers to approve you to get an offer but take that with a grain of salt. ik for a fact the recruiter says all parts are weighted equally so there's that
