they said 3x(45/60) for me, just preparing for the worst
fair enough, gl my friend
don’t stress, you got this
praying for all lc easys
Blessed by the rng gods
I wish
is this aws?
Yup
are u student program or industry hire
recruiter hit me up yesterday directly through email and set it up. Is AWS like separate from amazon?
I think u can transfer internally, but AWS is cheeks
for wlb
I think ur at atlassian right?
imo not worth moving
bro idk tbh, i did amazon oa1 and 2 for new grad hire and haven't heard back for final yet, then got emailed by another recruiter for aws so im not too sure
oh yea ur not student programs, this is prob industry hire which gets more interviews in the process
student programs hiring process is very standardized
Yeah tbh, ngl wlb at atlassian is goated. Will probs just do the interview for practice. Hope i dont waste their time
but also means u can get more tc, as u can negotiate
yeah actually it probably is industry
If I have a recruiter it’s industry
Industry is def better
Ng in vancouver is like 150k, 160k for return intern
Top band industry is 187k
Is this for Amazon new grad?
Agree, if I had Atlassian I wouldn't even want to grind for Amazon interviews. WTF?
yea, I think he said its for exp, I had the chance for AWS final too but said fuck it
not ready for interviewing rn anyways lol
What experience does he need though, Amazon is always hiring if/whenever he wants to experience it down the road
probably doesnt wanna get rusty coz if u stop interviewing for a long period of time, u forget a lot
But I get it, nothing wrong with that. I personally find interviews exhausting, especially 3-round ones
oh true
But, I am with you tho, I do not enjoy interviewing and am gonna chill for a bit longer
maybe do some light leetcode soon
pay is similar, but amazon has so many teams/more impact, atlassian is just project management kinda boring imo
It's a personal preference thing, I prefer good WLB especially starting out as a new grad. Not saying it's not possible at Amazon, but it's a hit or miss and I'm not a fan of their culture.
Yea I get that, which is why I put "imo"
Obv it's different for everyone
There is such a thing as AWS Early Career/New Grad
I've been in that pipeline before
You're treated like a New Grad
I had 3x45 with Two mediums and one hard
The link was deleted, it had the title Amazon Software Developer - 2022 or something like that
Switched to 2023 now I imagine
yeah most likely tbh
Search "2023 software" on amazon.jobs
I am a May 2022 graduate. Will I be eligible for that role?
yeah you should be eligible
