Hey. Anyone that can tell me Internships are the same as in US and Netherlands? I want to do an internship in the US as a dutch citizen. My family is afraid there a slight difference lol. here whenever i apply to a dutch company and do an internship there. they will max pay me 500 euros a month. Because i guess im not very valueable yet or have experience. And the internship needs some requirements for example the first 8 weeks im allowed to sniff around and help in different teams where nessecary. but the last 12 weeks i will need to be set on one project to experience the start till end experience. Like start problem anaylse> project goal > approach > requirements > design / realisation> testing > deploy. and the project isnt done within 6 weeks. Like i just want to know if American internships are aware of any requirements coming from my school, yet and still pay me a salary thats appreciated.

Because looking at the 'intern salary sharing' makes it hard beleive they are real lol. I'm an second year Computer science bachelors degree right now. and in the third year i need to do a internship for 20 weeks.
