I’ll tell u what makes it impressive tbh. It means they passed interviews consistently and probably stayed sharp at it WHILE working as interns. It also shows they value breadth of experience by working at a lot of places
Because obviously they kept jumping back into the market
However in a weird way it might be more impressive to be a return intern because that means u actually excelled at the job. What im saying is there are actually people out there who destroy interviews but they suck at the job lol

Here's the thing, even if the so called "mid tiers" are unaffected (which may have happened because they are not hyper-growth oriented, NOT because they are somehow smarter than average tech companies) what happened with the market is
- entry level got fucked at the top
- so it shifts this huge chunk of talented grads down a notch
- and the domino effect of shifting so many people down means the saturation trickles down
i.e., everyone gets fucked
You just don't see all these F500 publicizing or being on the news that they froze their hiring

I don't think OP of that post is a new grad. Headcount is reduced everywhere, even non-crypto places have rescinded new grad offers too, and there are way fewer new grad roles all around, it's a very competitive time and not easy.

For example, I saw someone asking on that discord, about working at some Fintech company. I shit you not, a bunch of people started to make fun of this person for even thinking about working there. Calling the person "dull" since it’s not a FAANG. There have been so many similar instances. I also it quite bugs me that so many people care more about the compensation. They don't care about what the company does, what the job is, the culture or even where the job site even is. Plus, there is a lot of cheating and leaks on OAs even though the company asks you to keep them private. You may pass the initial OA because of answers you collected from server, but when you meet face to face with an engineer; they will quickly realize what happened. Probably will get your self immediately rejected.
