0: COMPLETE THE OA AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE - I never understood why anyone thought that just because the OA deadline is a week or two away that they can wait last minute to complete it as IF there aren't other applicants who received the OA too. You (hopefully) applied to the internship itself early - well the OA is no different. If you're not prepared to complete it "now" then you tell yourself that you will use some time to "study", chances are you're not prepared to take it in two weeks, let alone one week.

1: LeetCode at LEAST one term or recruiting season PRIOR to the recruiting season you will apply for - don't cram your NeetCode 150 the same week of your scheduled interview. You don't need a hardcore, intensive schedule. A consistent and frequent schedule at a moderate intensity is magnitudes more beneficial compared to a 2-week insanely intensive "boot camp".

2: APPLY EARLY AS POSSIBLE - previously mentioned. This is a given.

3: FIX YOUR RESUME - resume literacy, of all skills, is not formally taught. Besides the typical visits to your school's career center, resume workshops, etc. FIND THE RESUMES OF THE "TOP" INTERNS/FULL-TIMERS AT TOP COMPANIES ON LINKEDIN AND REEEEEEAD A LOOTTTTTTT OF THEM. EXTRAPOLATE FROM THEM. SURE, YOU'll SEE A LOT OF CONFLICTING IDEAS, PREFERENCES, WORDINGS, ETC. BUT TO SOME DEGREE THERE IS A PATTERN BETWEEN ALL OF THEM. from there you will know what is considered a good resume.
