Depends on what ur describing. Expression of interest in the company or a career path? I think expression of interest for a company is researching why u want to work there and how ur values fit with their values and not just “oh Optiver because its a huge company”
And for like a specific career path maybe someone can show that by doing project related to data science, or taking the time outside of uni to learn more about specific topics, etc
