And that's where it shines. When you're a contractor like me building out multiple, simple microservices for people then you can safely make that decision. You can't expect everything you build to be the next Facebook, the scalability just isn't necessary. I agree that Rust has better performance in terms of compilation but I make the point that Go definitely wins over in development speed
