But still, not worth it imo. I told my interviewer that I'm not interested but asked that he consider me for other developer roles on his team or others at Meta. he said sure. i also sent him a Linkedin connection request. Hope it works out.

Because I am technically not being paid yet as the company is yet to secure funding. They are hoping to get it at the end of this year or early next year. Once they get funding, they will pay me for ALL the work I've done, not just the work from that point onwards.
But if i can get a job that pays me immediately instead of having to wait a while for my paycheck, I'll take it.
and yea, higher TC too. Anything higher than what this startup is offering is much appreciated.

Not yet. The company is all but guaranteed to get funding. Hopefully this December or January, they will get $1 million and later next year, they get another $2 million. Once they get the first million dollars, the first thing they will do is pay me $65 for each hour that I've worked thus far. They said their top/first priority once they get the money is to pay me.

They had only positive notes from the first interview, but the hiring process is just long. Pay there is good too and its a developer position.
