Just had an interview! It was for a marketing developer position.

If I get the job, I'll be writing Javascript/React code, but a lot of the position also involves A/B testing and creating software/apps that are best suited for the audience; realizing a problem and then solving it (unlike just solving a problem that is given to you by someone else in a traditional developer role). Some of the problems could be a result of human psychology too.

I heard some people in r/cscareerquestions and r/csmajors with FAANG internships say they are struggling to get offers.

Also, my major for both bachelor's and master's is not computer science. They both have the word computational or computer in them, but none of them have the word "science" in them. That could also be hurting me - employers know what CS is, but might be clueless on what my niche major is and favor others whose resumes say "Computer Science" even though I have relevant work experience.
