Yeah, to be fair, some companies do a good job explaining the reasoning behind it all and give their specific target numbers, etc. while others don't do as good of a job. Some of the older boilerplate ones are significantly worse. There are definitely issues with diversity just being lip service at many companies, of course, but research/measurable improvements financial results wise there's proven benefits to diversity in corporate settings at the board level. It's not always easy to tell the only lip service companies from the actually caring ones though. Some of the criteria for things like disability cover more things than some people might expect (e.g. mental health stuff like depression is in the list).
