i don't think there has been any confirmed cases of japan revoking your citizenship if you also kept another citizenship, it's illegal but pretty much never enforced

there's a pretty useful facebook group called Japanese Dual Citizenship, they are pretty helpful about any questions

i have both passports, the only rule i really keep in mind is to make sure to always enter the US with your US passport. japan expects you to use your japanese passport to enter japanese immigration if you have it, but it isn't required by law. i usually go through japanese immigration using my japanese passport just because the immigration line is faster

like some regional powerhouse that has a large IT dept with many teams

If your earning 65k that’s 5k / month then 4k/month after tax and 1/3rd for rent is 1300 and you can afford bills and groceries with the rest
