they all seemed legit, and provided enough "skillsets" to let me explore a specific path, but the "bar" to explore these experiences were extremely low.

in fact, the only reason I got an immediate offer from MITRE was because the lead recruiter told me verbatum "we need to fill in the headcount of summer 2022 interns, and your skillset matched what we were looking for"
