I specifically tried to ask, “is there a testing framework and is it more test focused” and he said yeah there’s a but if unit testing, but what they’re really doing is trying to look at the hardware that the systems run in and make sure the correct settings are applied and things are present. He said they have a internally developed software piece that needs added functionality.

It's a phone screen for SWE role. should be DS stuff. Interview invite says interview will focus on Python skills and CS fundamentals
