I'm super new so I can't say but I really can't see much in terms of negatives. If you're looking for strong early impact then that's inevitably gonna be an issue at a mega corp like G but that's the same with pretty much all big corps.

I did a lot of digging myself, had convos with a bunch of SWEs at Cit on LN, Blind, my alumni network etc. The common point was that they work pretty consistently 60 hours? That just seemed like a big turn off. Living in NYC is also a pretty big tax hit too. Then there's also the fact that because its not pure tech, there's inevitably a difference in the culture as well that might be more formal than I would like

All just seemed to be things I didn't align with. Google on the otherhand had all that and more. I really value job security and internal mobility. Google is #1 in those two departments too
