the way it works is that if you interview and then get positive feedback from the recruiter

you need to tell them that you want the offer to be moved to winter

if you tell them once they give you the offer letter pretty sure you're out of luck at that point

has to be during the process

also if you fail fall then you won't be able to interview for winter/summer since there's a 6 month buffer

so do with that what you will
