Ngl, it doesn’t matter which you choose since either way you can go down whatever path you want

Math = more proofs in course, but you’ll have more freedom to choose your courses.

CE = you’ll learn more about the hardware + embedded programming. Also engineering in Waterloo for the first two years is hard as fuck. You’ll be in for a rude awakening, especially for courses like ece 106. You’ll probably spend a lot of time stressing about passing a course, meaning less time to practice if you care that much

But as you can see from our classes report, in the end, majority of us found jobs that paid pretty high for full time

BUT, math is something a few can be good at because it takes a lot of hard work and patience

thats where you can make shit ton of money

its also very interesting once you hit niche topics like computability, applications in linear algebra, game theory and implementing nash equilibirium or bayesian games in python, reinforcement learning (i have notes for all these courses listed if you wanna take a look at em see if youre comfy)
