if it’s your first internship, then it’ll proll be tough to get any usa internship. but once you have some internship experience under your belt, it’ll get easier to hear back from american companies. during this past recruiting season i had a high response rate from these companies, i think a factor was that i was graduating in 2023. cold emails can also work, i sent one to a lyft recruiter and passed the resume screening. once you are able to land some OAs/interviews then its just a matter of ur lc skills

Anyways, not derailing from the topic, just wait and see. Just know where ever you go, US internships are pretty difficult to get. You’ll need to work hard and a lot of previous internships at Canadian jobs/good projects before you’ll be able to land interviews

Uw and the other bigger names Canadian Unis will give you a bit of an easier time, since their job apply boards will contains more of the us jobs, while others you’ll need to find externally
