Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a way to obtain my Canadian citizenship while being a Microsoft US employee. I was wondering if anyone has a similar experience and if my plan is feasible by any chance.

I am a US employee holding H1B status, residing in the US for 215 days per year.
Before applying for Canadian PR, I lived in Canada for over 3 years. Therefore, within the next 5 years, I only need to reside in Canada for a total of 2 years to qualify for citizenship. This averages to 0.4 years per year, or 146 days. I plan to stay 150 days to be safe. Over 5 years, this will total 750 days (which exceeds the 2-year/730-day requirement).
During this period, I will maintain my Canadian PR status while residing in Canada for these specified periods.

4. Copy email

WRITING THE EMAIL

1. subject needs to be brief, mention school and past exp briefly + the internship you're interested in
2. body also needs to be brief. 1-2 sentences intro and a few lines on relevant or notable exp. format however you want just dont make it a huge wall of text
3. send at 9:15 AM recruiter's timezone, dont send on fridays/weekends. schedule ur emails

1. send a lot of emails
2. if you know the recruiting structure for a company it'll influence the way you email. if decentralized (nvidia, apple, etc) more emails are fine. but if it's centralized (most companies) you may just piss them off. I recommend no more than 2-3.
3. you can also look on linkedin for posts that mention specific recruiters or relevant people.
