Hospitals struggle to have enough resources. Seeing a specialist is months, if not years, of waiting. Treatment can be lower quality since they’re trying to churn through as much as possible.

That's a fair opinion. I'm not comparing canadian HC to us HC. I think canadian HC can be improved significantly by replacing a lot of our infrastructure (and honestly, our processes).

A low hanging one is some areas require paramedics to stay at the hospital or clinic until the patient is admitted. These paramedics aren't allowed to respond to another emergency even if all they're doing is waiting untiul their patient is processed.

To be clear, I think our HC has its good sides too. It's not like it's all bad.
