Well if you want my real opinion I think that the world economy will never be the same. The next 40 years will not be like the last, and economic growth will slow, destroying debt and thereby currency in a lot of countries. Both demand and supply will contract, defaults will rise, unemployment will rise, and inflation will rise all at the same time. Interest rates will also rise at the same time, presenting an impossible task for any central bank.
