I work at Intuit, apply to the Edmonton posting instead of Toronto. Intuit Edmonton is Quickbooks and TurboTax is Toronto so they have a headcount for each. Every single Toronto Co-Op I've met is from Waterloo and a few UofT doing their 2nd or 3rd internship.

They let you work remote so Edmonton is fine. I know people assigned to Edmonton office working from Toronto.

Honestly I got an Intuit interview with 0 work exp on my resume. Only dev at school club and CS private tutor 2 web dev React TS projects. Interview was easy-med, almost no one fails it.
